'GAA is on the way up in Derry' - Steelstown win Ulster!

Steelstown from Derry city were worthy winners of the 2015 Ulster Junior Championship Final at Killyclogher on Sunday November 8.

The girls from the maiden city put in a determined second-half performance to defeat the Monaghan champions and take the title back to the north west.

'The GAA is up on the way in Derry', declared manager Thomas Cusack after the game. 'We had the highest number of girl players in the whole county last year, so we're progressing well'

Captain Emma Doherty insists there is 'plenty of talent' in the club and she hopes they will go on to help the effort at county level.
