'Snow' Problem for Donegal All Star!

'Snow' Problem for Donegal All Star!

The cold weather snap may be wrecking plans for thousands of people all over the country but Ciaran Cannon from St Eunan's Letterkenny was determined that it would not come between him and a BT Ulster Colleges All Star.

He set off at 7.30am on Monday morning from Donegal to catch a train from Derry to arrive in Belfast at BT Tower in time for the announcement of the 2010/11 awards.

Teacher and mentor Neil Gordon also revealed that the All Star, which is the school's first in football since current Donegal Senior captain Michael Murphy, means more to Ciaran because he collapsed at All Star trials a year ago.

More videos from the event will appear on the BT Ulster Colleges website, on and at Jerome Quinn on Facebook.
